Long Weekend Shooting Break
2 Full Days Walk Up Live Shooting in Spectacular Connemara.
Suggested Itinerary
DAY ONE
Check-in in at a charming country house hotel set in the rugged and wild country side of Connemara.
You'll then spend two nights in luxury with a Full Irish Breakfast each morning, a picnic packed lunch to keep you going through each day and a three course dinner each evening.
DAY THREE
After another hearty Full Irish Breakfast you'll be treated to a second full day of live shooting. You'll be ready for a pint or two at a typical Irish pub on the road into lively Galway City to check into the City Centre Hotel for the final night of your stay. Galway has a great selection of restaurants, traditional and modern bars with live music and clubs all within easy walking distance of the comfortable hotel in the heart of the buzzing city. Closing time on a Sunday is approximately 2am and 3am the rest of the week for those with the energy to stay up late...
DAY FOUR
After Breakfast
it's time to hit the road and head back to Shannon Airport. You'll be
transferred to the airport in good time for your flight home.
Prices on Application - Rates vary due to current exchange rates and types of accommodation, we find it best to tailor-make a break specially for you.
Your stay includes:
Two nights Full Board in a twin bedded room with full Irish
Breakfast each morning, a picnic packed lunch and a three course
dinner, with coffee each evening.
One night Bed & Breakfast only in a Galway City Centre hotel (minimum 2 star rating).
Two full days of live shooting including all guns (12 bore side by side) and cartridges.
Not included in the stay:
Dear Stalking from £1500 to a prize Irish Red Dear at £20,000 is also available on the estate.
Alcoholic drinks are not included. A pint will typically set you back between 4 and 6 Euros.
Clay pigeon shooting is available (at extra cost).
FLIGHTS
Clients will need to book and pay for their own flights. Try www.ryanair.com
For the weekend breaks the flight is on Friday
Gatwick south terminal to Shannon departs Gatwick at 15.00 arrives at Shannon 16.25
Return flight is on Monday Departs Shannon 13.05 arrives Gatwick 14.30.
For midweek breaks the flight times are the same but we go out on Mon return on Thursday.
You will also need to bring appropriate shooting clothing with you.
For example jacket, hat, boots etc. Please remember this is a live walk
up shoot across the fields and heather bogs of the wild and untamed
Irish country side where the weather and the bag are unpredictable!
Payment & Cancellation Policy
Payment is required in full at least one calendar month before
the departure date (cheque made payable to Peter Kelly or by bank
transfer - contact for bank details). In the event of
cancellation please ensure you have adequate travel insurance that
covers cancellation after this time.
